Item Description
Pair of single-sided paper signs advertising Flavor-Ized Flare-Top ice cream cones, ©1947 Famous Artists Syndicate. 11.75x16-3/8" sign for "Eat-It-All" cones features large cone w/"Gasoline Alley" characters including Skeezix and Uncle Walt as well as "Harold Teen" characters Pop Jenks and Shadow. Scattered handling wear w/creases at right corners. Fine. 10.75x21.75" sign features Pop Jenks handing giant "Flare-Top" cone to Shadow as Harold Teen enjoys his own cone. Minor creases at top left and bottom right corners. Still VF/Exc. overall. Among the nicest of all multi-comic character advertising signs. Both are scarce. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
