Item Description
7/8" dia. to 4-7/8x7-1/8". Included are: photograph of a group of Panamanian protestors that includes a sign reading "Down With The Lynching Of Negro Workers In U.S. Of A." (bend at bottom right corner and light handling wear, VF); real photo post card of a demonstration in the Philippines including a banner translating to "Free The Scottsboro Boys" (trimmed along bottom edge, unused, Fine) and a trio of buttons including two cello. (yellow toning and fading, VG) and one litho (paint crazing and age toning, VG). A nice group of artifacts highlighting the worldwide reactions stirred by the early civil rights case of the Scottsboro Boys.
