Item Description
Five lead pencil/paint original art prototypes for Weather Bird Shoes premium transfers, each on paper measuring 5.25x6.5" to 6x10.5". Transfers prototypes include - Mary Hartline, Claude Kirchner, Scampy, Cliffy and Nickie. Each features art area of about 4x6.5" and all have complete portraits plus additional hand-lettered text and 1951 Sales Stimulators copyright at bottom. Scampy and Kirchner transfers are trimmed along bottom, removing some text/copyrights. The others have complete design including copyright. All text has been hand-lettered. Various margin production notations. Sheets have scattered margin wear and some fold lines, but remain clean. Fine to VF overall. Lot also includes 22 examples of the actual 4x6.75" tissue paper sheet transfer premiums. 19 are Kirchner transfers w/remainder being Cliffy. Scattered margin wear but all are clean and unused.
