Item Description
Pair of 12x14" paper-wrapped artboards, both w/mixed media original art for 1940s Texcel Cellophane "Mother Goose Party Kit" premium. First artboard features detailed image of product box w/premium offer. Hand-lettered text includes "Everything You Need To Decorate Your Table For A Children's Party" and goes on to list contents - "Gingerbread House Centerpiece, Place Cards, Nut Cups, Favors, Masks, Miniature Hats And Place Rings." Margins have extensive penciled notations. Second artboard features much more detailed art showing premium set up w/detailed hand-lettered text at bottom right noting contents and mentioning that they could be assembled using Texcel tape. Some additional sketches/notes at top. Both sheets have some scattered dust soiling but are VF overall. Unique pair. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
