Item Description
Lot of three papier-maché figures, each standing between 9" and 17" tall. Figures include Buster Brown, Froggy and Midnight and were used as display in a shoe store selling Buster Brown Shoes (see Buster Brown prototypes, items #2151-2152 and ring #1050). 1930. Buster figure is jointed at waist and has separate bow tie attached w/nail. Hollow figure is missing feet and comes w/pedestal for display. Froggy has separate, jointed feet attached via elastic strips (one loose) and nails and has separate tongue that sticks out. Large 2" crack as shoulder. Midnight has some wear to tail and has separate papier-maché-covered wooden guitar that fits in place w/aid of nail. Painted tape repair to arm. Nails in feet to secure figure. All have obvious dust soiling and wear and are Good/VG overall.
