Item Description
1.25" missing original back paper but known to be produced by Huntzinger Adv. Co. in Wichita, Kansas. A tiny dot of toning at 6 o'clock. Otherwise super clean w/almost no surface wear even in reflected light. NM. A superb example of an extremely rare 1916 button. Included in the lot is a photocopy print of the original coattail back paper this button is known to have been issued with that reads "Jas. N. Miller Candidate For Register Of Deeds 'Old Soldier'." See previous lot #270 for unique companion piece produced by the same mid-west manufacturer.
