Item Description
16.25x21" die-cut cardboard standee w/easel back depicts large circus clown holding sign that reads "See Alnico - The Star Of The Show!" as small barker gestures w/cane. Sign dates to 1950 and promotes GE's Alnico magnetic door refrigerator. Clown's crown has heavy 1.25" crease that breaks surface paper. Scattered corner tip wear, left shoe shows more moderate wear. VG overall. 16x22.25" two-sided sign for hanging on a string features different graphics on each side, promoting General Electric Refrigerators, both sides showing them open and stocked w/food. One side focuses on GE's "Roto-Cold" cooling technology while the other features futuristic design w/ringed planets noting various 1963 refrigerator features. Horizontal fold across sign at bottom of refrigerator images w/pinch crease along fold. Fine overall. Nice graphic pair of rare advertising pieces. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
