Item Description
Five-piece prototype hat assembled from cut-out pieces of cardstock that have original art measures 8-5/8x9-3/8" w/two attached pieces on front; one showing classic image of winking Buster Brown w/Tige (their eyes are cut out w/pupils drawn on backing piece, giving the appearance of their eyes moving when pieces moves back and forth) w/the other having printed stat w/"Buster Brown - America's Favorite Children's Shoes" text. Stat has some moderate aging but all else remains clean and VF/Exc. 1950s. See Buster Brown advertising items #654-658. Neat design. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
