Item Description
14x20" first printing poster for Oct. 28, 1968 concert at Crawford Hall at the University of California - Davis in Irvine, CA featuring Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band as well as Portable People. Classic poster design by Rick Griffin incorporated some of his classic motifs, such as a winged heart and eyeball and a scarab. This is yellow color variant and poster was printed utilizing split fountain technique; which fades from green and yellow at left to orange and yellow at right. NM.
