Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard poster for Aug. 12, 1959 concert at Dunns Pavilion in Bala, Ontario, Canada featuring Duke Ellington and His Orchestra. Poster features great caricature portrait of Ellington which has been printed using split fountain technique; changing from dayglo orange at top to yellow-orange at bottom of Ellington's face. Poster is lightly aged w/slightly darker margins (not offensive). Lower right corner has "1959" date penciled. Minor corner tip wear and VF/Exc. overall. Rare.
