Item Description
Large 33.5x48.25" thin paper poster comprised of two pieces attached along center horizon for April 14, 1957 concert that was part of a traveling Philharmonic concert tour in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Concert was the first to be aired on local Amsterdam TV and was headlined by Ella Fitzgerald w/Lester Young, Ray Brown, Flip Philips, Irving Ashby, Roy Eldridge, Hank Jones, Max Roach and Oscar Peterson (each w/their own band). Poster features only text w/wavy border design. Poster was folded into eighths and is now rolled. Moderate wear along main vertical and horizontal fold lines and scattered moderate margin wear due to thinness of paper. VG overall. Rare.
