Item Description
12x12" paper LP cover released in Taiwan in 1968 on Hua Sheng Records KHS-4180. This is their version of a gatefold cover, connected along bottom fold as issued. Front features same photo of the band at the US release, w/"Jefferson Airplane" name replacing "Surrealistic Pillow" album name at top. Back features this LP as well as other releases of the day. Front has been boldly signed in blue felt tip pen by Grace Slick, Marty Balin, Paul Kantner (1941-2016), Jack Casady, Spencer Dryden (1938-2005) and Jorma Kaukonen, all of whom are featured in the album photo and on the record (not included). Some scattered corner tip and margin wear but still VF overall w/bold signature displaying wonderfully. Would look great framed. A very esoteric foreign release to have signed by the band and something very different for the Jefferson Airplane fan. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
