Item Description
6x9" textured cardstock cover program for "Ameritans Of The Year 1959 Testimonial Dinner" held at the Order Sons of Italy in America - Grand Lodge of Maryland in Baltimore, MD on April 18, 1959. Cover shows Baltimore Colts stars Alan Ameche (1933-1988) and Gino Marchetti, whom have both signed front cover in blue ink, along w/fellow Colts players Art Donovan (1924-2013, HOF) and Bill Pellington (1927-1994), who were also attendees of the dinner. All four were members of the 1958 and 1959 back-to-back NFL Championship Game winners the Baltimore Colts. First page of program has biographies of both Ameche and Marchetti w/rest of program noting other guests, dinner program, menu and Lodge officers. Program has even aging to covers, w/pinch creases to spine and scattered handling wear. Small staple holes at top left corner. Horizontal crease at center. Fine overall, but signatures still display nicely. A rare piece of Colts-related ephemera, further enhanced by player signatures. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
