Item Description
Large and impressive 33.25x47" first printing poster for Feb. 1968 concert festival that took place in Frankfurt, Germany featuring an all-star bill w/John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker, Jimmy Reed, Big Joe Williams, Curtis Jones, Eddie Taylor and others. Art by German poster artist Günther Kieser features folk art depiction of acoustic guitar, featuring photo image of Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln portrait and image of antique African-American doll interspersed w/musicians' names. Poster has been rolled and has some scattered margin wear, most notable at upper left corner, which has some small edge tears/creases. Fine/VF.
