Item Description
Not to be confused w/a typical Sunday Comics section, this is a totally different special insert titled "Homemakers' Section" measuring 18x23.75" and published as part of the "Chicago Sunday Tribune" Sept. 22, 1940. Complete eight-page section features wonderful "Dick Tracy" front page, featuring Chester Gould art of Tracy w/cut-out disguise pieces as well as Dick Tracy Junior and Tess Trueheart paper dolls/outfits to cut out. All remains uncut. Faint horizontal crease at center as issued, w/75" tear at center right of all pages. Pages remain clean, supple and VF overall. Very rare as designed to be cut up. First we've offered in our 51 years. A wonderful piece to frame and something rather unknown to even the advanced Dick Tracy collector.
