Co. for his participation "In Work Essential To The Production Of The Atomic Bomb, Thereby Contributing To The Successful Conclusion Of World War II." Certificate is dated Aug. 6, 1945 (the date of the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima) and has printed signature of Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson. Certificate is evenly aged w/wear along right margin, VF. Certificate comes w/pair of 8x10" silver gelatin photos showing same group of Manhattan Project workers posed w/intricate machinery.
