Item Description
8-1/8x11" vintage sepia photo portrait of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh (1902-1974) has been twice mounted against brown paper and 10-3/8x14" backing. Photo has been signed across Lindbergh's chest in black ink. This blends somewhat as signature is light in nature, but Lindbergh's name is legible. Bottom margin has inked notation w/French address and name of photographer. Photo was likely taken after Lindbergh's historic nonstop transatlantic flight from Roosevelt Field, Long Island, New York, to Paris, France in 1927. Bottom right corner of backing has .75x1.5" area of staining, but photo remains clean and Exc. and could be displayed as such. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
