Buttons are 2.25" to 3.5". Original letter is 8.5x11". Two buttons by "Creative Photocrafts" commemorating the release of Iranian hostages in concurrence w/Reagan's first inauguration. Third button reads "427 Days" w/"Pd. For By CRNC David Miner Chrm." on curl. Letter notes "In A Move To Dramatize The Successful Freeing Of The American Hostages From Beirut, The College Republican National Committee Today Began A Button-Dispersion Campaign To Republican Senators And Congressmen. In Red Letters On White, The Buttons Read: 427 Days." The number highlights the large difference in time that the hostages from TWA Flight 847 were held compared to their counterparts during the Iranian hostage crisis. All are Exc. to NM.
