Item Description
Lot of three cards, measuring approx. 3.5x5.5". Early 1900s trade card features wonderfully illustrated scene of shooting match (using live birds about to be released) on front w/detailed text on reverse about various models/prices. Produced by Parker Bros. of Meriden, CT, these shotguns were considered the finest of their day and were used by champion shooters/celebrities such as Annie Oakley, Frank Butler, Clark Gable, etc. The most expensive model listed on back of card would be $7,000 in today's market. Corner tip wear and scattered aging to back w/small litho pull. VF/Exc. Postcard w/woodcock dates to c. 1901 while hunter postcard dates to c. 1910. Both are unused. Scattered aging to woodcock card and lt. corner tip wear to hunter card. Both are VF overall.
