Item Description
1x4x6.5" illustrated cardboard box w/"De Laval Cream Separators - The World's Standard - 1,625,000 Now In Use" text contains 6.25" tall overall high relief tin litho match holder depicting design of actual separator which has text changed to "1,750,000 In Use." July 28,1908 patent date at bottom. c. 1910. Box is evenly tanned and is missing one inner flap, w/end flap and other inner flap reattached/reinforced w/white tape. Box displays VF. Match safe has die-cut hole for hanging on wall. Silver accent finish is a bit worn, o/w appears unused. Exc. Nicely detailed design.
