Item Description
1-5/8" X 2" cardboard reads "Double x" and "Fabrication Francaise". Card has light age and .5" top edge tear. The embossed brass shell has a bar pin reverse with front showing large, grinning portrait of Roosevelt accented by national symbols of Tower on left and Statue on right. Mint luster. Likely made very shortly after the Liberation of Paris August 25, 1944.
