Item Description
21.25x28" poster for the original release of the 1914 Photo Drama Motion Picture Co. Inc. drama directed by Pierce Kingsley and Raymond B. West and starring Lottie Pickford (Mary Pickford's younger sister), Armand Cortes, Susanne Willis, Robert Lawrence, Herbert Barrington, Vivian De Wolfe, Brian Darley and Clyde Morris. Great stone lithography by Acme Litho Co. of New York features scene titled "Mary Leaves The Home That Can Never More Shelter Her" and shows Pickford wearing hat and coat and looking into the distance as woman pleads w/her not to leave. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some color touch-ups/restoration to fold lines (most notably at center left) and text at top. Airbrushing to margins and white bkg. but poster retains bright and clean appearance w/vibrant color and displays Exc. as linen-mounted. Rare.
