Item Description
27.25x41" for the original release of the 1937 Victory Pictures crime drama directed by Robert F. Hill and starring Ralph Byrd, Herbert Rawlinson, Joan Barclay, Lloyd Hughes, Dickie Jones, Lucille Lund, Sam Flint, Jimmy Aubrey, Theodore Lorch and Henry Hall. This feature film was edited from the film serial of the same name. Great stone lithography by Morgan Litho Corp. of Cleveland, OH features eerie image of crab-clawed villain Scorpion looming over film cast, one of whom attacks a fallen man w/piece of furniture. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had color touch-ups along fold lines and some restoration at fold crease intersections. Staple holes at corners w/some touch-ups to fold line splits at margins. Lower right margin has 5.5" long strip of moisture staining, but this does not affect image which would display VF if matted and framed. Great design.
