Item Description
27.5x41" for original release of the 1937 Columbia 15 chapter serial directed by Spencer Gordon Bennet and starring record-breaking aviator Frank Hawks, Dorothy Sebastian, Kenneth Harlan, Rex Lease, Yakima Canutt and Clara Kimball Young. This is for Chapter 12, "The Lost Trail" and features great stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH showing Hawks battling man midair on wing of plane as female passenger watches another biplane crash. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/color touch-ups along fold lines and some minor restoration at fold crease intersections. Margins have some scattered touch-ups to fold lines and pin holes at top corners. Two small spots of moisture staining in blue field below "Mysterious" in title, o/w poster remains clean and VF overall.
