Item Description
5x5x2.75" tall box contains watch w/1x1.25" chromed metal case and original metal expansion band. U.S. Time, c. 1951. Box is complete w/die-cut insert containing domed plastic space compass that has diagram w/text "Ecto, Terra, Endo" and has space distances listed on bottom. Dome is protected by second die-cut insert. Lid features photo portrait of Ed Kemmer as Buzz Corey [sic]. Box has some corner tip wear (more prevalent to base) and is Fine/VF overall. Dial has "Space Patrol" logo. Watch winds and ticks, but needs a simple cleaning to keep time. Much bright luster remains. Exc. Compass dome shows some lt. wear and is VF. Scarce as boxed.
