Item Description
27.5x41" for the original release of the 1936 Republic 12 chapter movie serial directed by Mack V. Wright and starring Robert Livingston (one of the original Three Mesquitters, as well as The Lone Ranger and Zorro actor) alongside Kay Hughes, Guinn "Big Boy" Williams, Raymond Hatton, Fred Kohler, Robert Warwick, William Farnum, William Desmond and Yakima Canutt. Nice lithography features image of Livingston as the masked vigilante The Eagle at top left as vigilantes wait on horseback. This is for Chapter 3 "Condemned By Cossacks" and features illustrated inset scene showing cowboy about to be run down by Cossack cavalry. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had limited color touch-ups along fold lines and trace restoration at fold crease intersections. Displays Exc. as linen-mounted w/vivid color.
