Item Description
40.25x88.75" British three sheet for the original release of the 1936 film that takes place in the Canadian Rockies and concerns Rose-Marie La Flemme, a French Canadian woman who loves miner Jim Kenyon. When Kenyon falls under suspicion for murder, her brother plans for Rose-Marie to marry another man. Wonderful stone lithography by Taylors Printers of Wombwell, England features Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer w/Rose Marie, gesturing to elaborately costume Native American tribal dance. War bonnet-wearing Native American at bottom right. As w/all three sheets, this poster is pieced together from three pieces, resulting in some uneven margins, but images line up nicely. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and shows very limited color touch-ups. Displays Exc. as linen-mounted w/vivid color.
