Item Description
21" tall composition doll of Deanna Durbin, Canadian actress and singer best known for musical films of 1930s-1940s. Doll was produced by Ideal, 1930s and features sleep eyes, open mouth w/teeth and original mohair wig. Jointed head, arms and legs. Dressed in original outfit of velveteen dress w/attached cotton blouse w/collar. Blouse has cloth tag w/Ideal and Durbin's names, noting her as "A Universal Star." Also has original open back blouse w/puffy sleeves, original flocked shoes and socks. .25" hairline under on eye and .5" hairline under the other. Another .25" seam hairline between thumb and fingers. All have stabilized and doll is o/w VF and stands well for display.
