Item Description
27.75x41" for the original release of the 1918 Paramount-Mack Sennett silent comedy starring Louise Fazenda, Slim Summerville and Glen Cavender. Humorous stone lithography by Greenwich Litho. Co. of New York, NY is titled "How Can I Bear To Leave Thee?" and shows Fazenda trying to hold back an actual bear, who has bitten down on the backside of Summerville. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some color touch-ups along fold lines. Tiny hole at bottom fold crease intersection w/pin holes scattered at top center w/ a few scattered along left/right sides of image area. Margins have some scattered restoration. 1/8" hole just below left center margin. Barely visible streak of moisture staining across extreme top margin edge, o/w poster is very clean overall and displays VF as linen-mounted.
