Item Description
27.5x41" for the original release of the 1938 Universal film adaptation of Jonathan Latimer's William Crane mystery, directed by Otis Garrett and starring Preston Foster as Crane. Great stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH features ghostly hands reaching toward Foster's face as eerie woman's face lurks in bkg. Poster bears "A Crime Club Production" logo (as this was the third film in Universal's "Crime Club" series). Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/color touch-ups along fold lines and some minor restoration at fold crease intersections. Pin holes at corners and top center w/tiny 1/8" hole at top right margin. Margins have had limited restoration to fold lines. VF as linen-mounted.
