Item Description
1.75" tall embossed brass. Hake #212. High relief depiction of TR in Rough Rider hat. Bottom edge representing his collar has tiny markings "U.S.V." standing for United States Volunteers and referencing his service in the Spanish-American-Cuban War. His lower jaw is on a spring hinge that when pressed reveals a label that reads "Give Them Hell Boys." Label has light wear and remains complete and bright. Brass has a tiny dot of tarnish just above ear at left and at center of hat. Overall and Exc. example of this always popular mechanical badge. Ron Koot Collection.
