Item Description
Lot of three 1.75x5.5x3" illustrated boxes w/original carrying straps, each featuring different images/characters, including Popeye, Swee'Pea, Wimpy, Olive Oyl, Castor Oyl and others. ©1935 KFS. Two boxes are empty but one contains complete cookie contents, but all are in pieces w/exception of three figural cookies of Wimpy, Professor Geezil and Popeye that come sealed in custom acrylic case. Boxes have evenly aged but are remarkably clean and show just lt. scattered wear including a few small tears (Swee'Pea box has .75" tear to top flap). Fine overall. Among the nicest and rarest of all vintage character cookie boxes.
