Item Description
Original illustrated box contains 6.5" long painted pressed steel gun that uses same exact design as Marx's 1930s Flash Gordon pistol. Marx, 1940s. Box is evenly aged w/scattered wear, including edge creasing, creases to side panels and corner tip wear. One inner flap missing and other attached w/tape. Opposite end flap has glue repair to hinge. 1x1.25" area of surface paper lift on main panel. VG/Fine overall. Gun is variety w/"Air Raid Warning Siren-Sparkling Signal Pistol" decal as produced/sold during World War II. Decal has a few small flakes at right, but mostly complete. Gun works and has loud noise and sparks. Scattered minor paint nicks/wear w/aging to silver luster areas. VF overall. A scarce gun in this version. Great futuristic design.
