8.75x11.25x5/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains Puzzle Craft Industries set, ©1945 John Dille Co. Set came in two different lid versions, both had same art but slightly different color schemes. This is version w/o green banner across bottom. Box lid shows moderate wear w/dust soiling and three spots of staining, ranging from .25" to .75x1". Lid ha one corner split and one side panel split. Inside of box bottom and underside have drawings of horses and jockey. Box is VG. Each of the three included cardboard puzzles measure 8-3/8x11" w/art by Dick Calkins. One features Buck Rogers in rocketship while the other two have him battling aliens. All are complete and Exc. w/superb graphics throughout. Extremely rare as a complete boxed set, few examples of such are known.
