Item Description
Large and impressive 31x48" die-cut cardboard store display sign feature great full body image of Buck Rogers at left, wearing or holding several premium items from the "Buck Rogers Space Ranger Kit" issued by Sylvania TV dealers "Free! To Kids Who Bring In Mom Or Dad." 1952. Items in kit included - Space Ranger Helmet (w/spinning propeller), Chronoscopic Space Compass, Interplanetary Space Phones, Space Ranger Badge, Membership Card, Commission Pendants, Strato Space Power Space Ship, stand-up figures (Buck Rogers, Wilma Deering, Martians and Space Rangers), Martian nodding head Dynagator Target, Super-Sonic Rocket Launcher with Atomic Space Rocket, Martian mask, Disintegrator with Flying Saucers, all of which are shown on sign. Vertical fold at center as issued. Edges of sign shows some scattered wear to lightning bolt points along top and at right edge of planet rings as well as to propeller blade on Buck's helmet. Bright, glossy and Fine/VF overall w/vivid color. Incredibly impressive and very rare, this being the only example we know of. Great promotional piece for one of the all-time classic Buck Rogers premiums.
