Item Description
8x10.5" on "United States Department Of Justice Federal Bureau Of Investigation" stationery. Hoover writes to Thomas noting receipt of a letter regarding a Mr. Papcun stating "Your Letter Reflected The Mr. Papcun Was Active In The Communist Movement And Also In The Socialist Workers Party In The Past." and that "After Repeated Efforts We Were Successful In Interviewing Mr. Papcun On March 19, 1954." Two horizontal and one vertical mailing folds. Three moisture marks in field at right one just affecting the "R" in Hoover's bold signature. Fine. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
