Item Description
Lot of four 8x10" official NASA cardstock photos come in NASA envelope. Envelope has typed recipient name/address label that matches the name inscribed on each of the photos. Envelope shows wear w/corner creases as well as 1" and 2.5" splits at end flap. Moderate dust soiling. VG/Fine overall. Photos include - Gordon Cooper (1927-2004 - Mercury 7, Gemini 5); Buzz Aldrin (Gemini 12 and Apollo 11; moon walker); James Lovell JR. (Apollo 8, Apollo 13); Eugene Cernan (1934-2017 - Gemini 9A, Apollo 10 Apollo 17; final moon walker). All are posed in civilian clothes, each wearing Astronaut Corps pin; Aldrin and Cernan wear silver pins (indicating that had not yet flown in space) while Cooper and Lovell wear gold pins (indication that they had flown in space). Each has inscribed photo to Scott Steinmann, writing either his first of full name, all signing in blue felt tip pen. Aldrin and Cernan have both added "With Best Wishes" inscriptions while Lovell has added "Best Regards." All are Exc. w/just lt. corner tip wear. Much rarer that the typically seen signed photos w/astronauts posed in their spacesuits. Rare as all signed to same person. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
