Item Description
Three 9.25x12.75" artboards w/brown paper overlays each have vellum sheet w/mixed media original art. Two have black paper mats w/7x9.5" openings. Each features prototype art for 1960s premiums. First offers "Plastic Dueling Pirates" w/two dueling pirates and pirate ship in background. Second offers "Pirate Cannon With 3 Cannon Balls" w/cut-out ship designed to be cut out and used as target for use w/box insert premium. Third offers "Plastic Model Pirate Ship" and has boy dressed as pirate pointing to assembled model, complete w/skull and crossbones. Vellum sheets are attached to artboards w/aged tape and glue. This is not evident on two matted examples, which display Exc. Third unmatted example displays Fine but could easily be matted out for matching display. Nicely designed. Unique.
