Item Description
Extensive lot showing development/design process of a premium. 8-7/8x12" vellum sheet has mixed media all original art/hand-lettered design for 1970 General Mills "Trix Climbing Rabbit" premium, w/text reading in part "He Actually Climbs Right Up The Line!" Art shows image of premium and scene of children playing w/the premiums. Exc. Comes w/"Creative Dummy Specifications" sheet dated "3-70" that has been filled out in ink and has attached sheet of vellum featuring all lead pencil original art. Photo of premium prototype is also included. Staple hole at top left of sheet and paperclip mark on photo. VF. Lot also includes two-page handwritten letter w/instructions and diagram of premium, typed letter from modelmaker, two vellum sheets w/additional lead pencil diagrams of assembled toy and unassembled sprue, sheet of graph vellum w/additional lead pencil schematics of premium w/"Original Design - Property Of Gold Premium International Co." text at bottom left and box has some handwritten production notes and "3-31-70" date at lower right. Some lt. scattered handling wear/aging. VF to Exc, Lot also comes w/a few stats as well. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
