Item Description
Pair of thin artboards w/mixed media original art for 1950s series of cloth patches. 7x9.75" trimmed Strathmore board has handwritten pencil title below 3" dia. circular original art that reads "Comic Cloth Patch - Actual Size" and shows Dick Tracy. Margins are slightly uneven as trimmed but art remains bright, clean and Exc. 11x14.25" artboard features six different "Cloth Patches" designs, including Little Orphan Annie and Sandy along w/generic clown, space rocket, sheriff, "Cougar Fighter Navy (US)" plane and kangaroo. Pin holes at corners w/slight aging at right but art remains clean and Exc. Choice art. Unique pair. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
