Item Description
Set of three solid steel hobs measuring 2.75x4-5/8x3" deep for Count Chocula's "Midnight Creeper" and Boo Berry's "Crazy Cloud Car" and 2.75x4-5/8x2.5" deep hob for Franken Berry's "Silly Stretcher" vehicles. As each piece is solid steel, combined weight for the three is just over 25 lbs. These steel hobs were used to produce the molds for General Mills' 1981 premium racers that were available one free in each box of Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry cereals. Tops of hobs have trace of aging/oxidation and Boo Berry hob has marker notations on top. Still nice for VF/Exc. display. Comes w/two 14x20.25" box flats dated "9-81" on end flaps. Flats are for Franken Berry and Boo Berry, and fronts of each have inset box advertising premium within (both featuring Franken Berry racer). Backs of each feature full panel showing all three "Spooky Speedsters" as well as portrait images of their respective monster mascots. Flats are unused and have been folded along center scored line. NM file copies. Comes with COA from RB Toy Development Co. Unique lot.
