Item Description
9x10.5" high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween mask for Bullwinkle, who was introduced by Collegeville in 1975. Rocky (see following item #1242) followed in 1976. Plastic mask has been completely hand-painted and is marked "Original" in blue ink on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Some lt. scattered paint wear and 1/8" to .25" cracks where antlers meet head and mask has a couple tiny scattered edge cracks. Pencil mark to one eye. Fine/VF overall. Mask comes w/9.75x11.5" sheet of vellum w/mixed media original art for Bullwinkle mask, featuring "2-75" date and "Bullwinkle" name at top left in blue ink. Top right and lower left has additional measurement notations. Sheet has .5x1.5" piece out of top center (not affecting art) and scattered handling wear. Strips of tape staining at corners.
