Item Description
8x10.5" vellum sheet (w/paper backing) w/mixed media original art depicting flashlight shining on "Cap'n Crunch Shadow Stencil" premium, casting large line shadow of the Cap'n on wall in bkg. 1970. Hand-lettered text reads "Free Inside This Package - Get One Of These Cap'n Crunch Shadow Stencils - Project 'Em On The Wall - Trace 'Em Down On Paper - Hang 'Em As Decorations." Additional text at bottom notes "Collect All Six Shadow Stencils" w/original art outlines for the other five stencils - Seadog, Alfie, Brunhilde, Jean LaFoote and Dave. Top margin has two pieces of tape w/black paper residue as once attached to sheet, but is o/w Exc. Unique. Comes w/quote sheet for tool and die work for injection molds. Also comes w/specification sheets for injection molding, offering nice insights into the production of these premiums. Sheets are dated 1969 and 1970. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
