11-3/8x17.5" Archie Comics artboard has pen and ink original art for cover to "Jughead" Vol. 2 #73, published by Archie Comics in Oct. 1995. Art was created by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Henry Scarpelli. Cover depicts Jughead rowing canoe towards waterfall as Archie relaxes. Hand-lettered dialog balloon reads "Archie, Look At All The Friendly People Waving At Us!," referencing people on shore trying to alert them about the danger. Publishing indicia and "Jughead" title are paste-over stats, but illustration of Jughead below "Archie Comics" is pen and ink original art. Top margin has handwritten "Jughead" title and issue number. Scattered age spotting, mostly to title paste-over and upper left margin. Staple at upper left. Art remains clean and VF/Exc.
