30x40" poster features art by Clarence F. Underwood, showing Marine seated on dock w/his rifle, battleships visible in the bkg. Recruitment text includes - "U.S. Marine - Be A Sea Soldier." 1917. Poster has been linen-mounted and has had wide margins completely repainted/replaced. Two spots of moisture staining at upper left edge of image area, but o/w there has been no restoration to main image. VG/Fine overall, but if matted and framed, would display VF.
