Item Description
8.5x11" two-page typed A&M Records, Inc. contract, dated Nov. 1, 1980. This is the initial contract between The Carpenters and A&M for their final LP, "Made In America," which was released in June 1981. This was their last album as Karen Carpenter died Feb. 4, 1983. Second page has been signed in blue ink by Richard Carpenter (which is a bit light, but still legible) and in red ink by Karen Carpenter as well as Kenneth Powell of A&M Records. Contract has faint 4" crease at upper right (not affecting signatures) and expected wear at upper left as stapled. VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
