Item Description
5.5x8.5" single-sided handbill for "Happening #5" concert that took place Feb. 10, 1968 in San Diego, CA and was produced by the James C. Pagni Company (Pagni was the preeminent San Diego concert promoter at the time). Concert was headlined by Big Brother and the Holding Company and also featured The Genetic Dryft. Handbill design by Kay features repeated psychedelic-influenced photos of the band, w/Janis Joplin at right. Handbill has some handling wear and back has tape staining and some surface paper lifts at corners, but this does not affect front's appearance, which still displays VF. Scarce.
