Item Description
11-7/8x15-7/8" thin cardboard has two hand-painted production cels from animated commercial advertising Quaker's short-lived Quake's Orange Quangaroos cereal, which replaced the discontinued Quake shortly after Quaker ceased production in 1972. This cel dates to 1973 and features Quaker's popular cereal mascots Quisp, Quake and Simon the Quangaroo. Quisp is seen arguing w/Simon atop large box of Quangaroos cereal (this is part of the color photocopy bkg.) while Quake holds bowl of Quangaroos cereal and attempts to get their attention. Cels and printed bkg. have been taped to board but could easily be framed for Exc. display.
