Item Description
Pair of 7.25x28.25" illustrated panels w/calendars and advertising text on reverse. Both have metal strips at top/bottom as designed to hang. These "Pompeian Beauty Panels" were issued throughout the 1910s and 1920s, featuring various popular actresses of the day on front and various ads on backs for Pompeian beauty products. 1917 variety features Mary Pickford and bottom has facsimile inscription/signature. 1921 variety features Marguerite Clarke. Both have been rolled as issued, 1917 having horizontal fold across bottom and a few small pin holes. Scattered edge wear and even aging. Fine overall.
