Item Description
Pair of high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks for George of the Jungle. Collegeville, c 1968. Plastic masks measure 7.5x9.25" and 8x10.5" and both have been completely hand-painted. Smaller mask is marked "No Good!" in black marker inside mask. Larger mask has "1st Sample - Don't Use" text in pencil inside chin. Both are unique prototypes. Scattered dust soiling and trace paint wear, but still VF overall. Masks come w/9-5/8x11.25" trimmed sheet of vellum w/mixed media original art for mask, surrounded by extensive pencil notations. Even lt. aging and some minor handling wear. Pin hole at top center of hair. Fine/VF. Truly one of a kind lot a rare and desirable Jay Ward character costume.
